■Regarding to “MYAKU-PE!” The ‘Myakupe!’ function is an electronic money that can be charged and used from credit cards or bank accounts.

■Regarding to “MYAKU-PO!” “MYAKU-PO!” is a service that allows users to earn unique points for participating in various initiatives related to the SDGs and EXPO2025.

■Regarding to “MYAKU-N!” ‘Myakoon!’ is a Expo action such as participating in events and using ‘Myakpe!’, and presents exclusive Myakumyaku NFTs that can only be obtained here. Please check the following website.

What is EXPO digital wallet?

EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet is a special wallet service provided at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

■ Examples of services ・Payment service ‘Myakupe!’ that can be used both inside and outside the Expo venue

・’Myakupo!’ that can be obtained by participating in and experiencing Expo-related programs

・Status service granted based on the usage status of the digital wallet

Are there any requirements for participation? Can everyone participate?

Everyone can join and participate. However, please noted that you need a smartphone for SMS verification.

Can anyone aged below 18 join? Are there any age limitation on using MYAKU-PO!?

There are no age restriction. However, minors must have the prior consent from their legal representative (in principle, person with parental authority) to use MYAKU-PO!.

Can users join from anywhere in Japan?

Users can participate anywhere from japan.

Can users join from anywhere outside japan?

MYAKU-PO! is a service available exclusively within Japan. To participate, you need the following: 1. A SIM card from a Japanese telecommunications provider that supports SMS verification 2. An account with the Japanese App Store or Google Play

If you still cannot update the application, please uninstall it from your device and install it again from the App Store or Google Play. ※Account information will not be deleted even if you uninstall the app. After reinstalling the app, you will be able to log in using SMS verification with the phone number you used during registration. Does the app support languages other than Japanese and English

The app supports only Japanese and English.

Can MYAKU-PO! be used in digital wallet app only?

You cannot use the EXPO2025 digital wallet app solely. You need to download and register for the MYAKU-PO! app.

Are there any stores where I can learn how to use MYAKU-PO!?

What is the membership number? Where can I find it?

The membership number refers to the unique 9-digit number(○○○○○-○○○○)that is issued to every single MYAKU-PO! app user. The membership number is displayed on the upper part of the top page of the app MYAKU-PO!. You may tap on the membership number to copy the number in the occasion of inquiry or else.

The app cannot be launched.

Please try the following to solve the problem.

1. Restart the app.

2. Restart the device.

3. Reinstall the app.

4. Free up storage space on your device.

5. Update the app.

6. Update the OS of the device. If the problem persists after trying the above, please contact us with your device and OS version.

The balance displayed on top page has not been refreshed.

Please try the following solutions.

1. Check your network connection (make sure you are connected to a network if the Wi-Fi icon is displayed).

2. Restart the app.

3. Restart the device. If the balance is still not updated after performing these steps, please click on the (三) icon at the upper left corner of the top page of the app. Then, click on “History” in the menu bar to check whether the transactions are reflected correctly.

■The transaction is not shown in “History” It may take some time for your point balance to be reflected. Please wait a while and check again later.

■The transaction is in “History” Please check your membership number, nickname, and the balance displayed on the top page before contacting us. Provide these details when filling out the inquiry form.

Device

Can the app MYAKU-PO! be used in devices like feature phones or tablets?

The app supports only smartphones. Usage on feature phones and tablets are not supported.

What should I do if the phone installed MYAKU-PO! has been stolen (or lost)?

If you lose your device or your device is being stolen, please immediately take measures such as remotely locking the device to prevent it from being used by a third party. Also, please contact your mobile service provider to take necessary measures such as suspending the communication line. Kindly also notify us for the loss or theft. Please provide your registered mobile phone number in the MYAKU-PO! app when making an inquiry.

What should I do if I changed the device that has MYAKU-PO! installed?

Kindly follow the procedures below.

■If you have your phone changed while keeping the same phone number: No transfer procedure is needed, but please remember your email address and password for EXPO2025 Digital Wallet.

1. Install MYAKU-PO! app to your new device.

2. Login using the new device (Input both the email address and password for EXPO2050 Digital Wallet → complete SMS verification).

■If you have both your phone and phone number changed at the same time:

1. Install the app to your new phone

2. Login to the new device with the SIM of the old phone number (Login EXPO2025 digital wallet with email address and password → SMS verification with the old SIM)

3. Replace the SIM with the new phone number SIM

4. Click on the (三) at the upper left corner of the top page of the app, and select “Change Member Information” under your membership number (PIN code verification → SMS verification with the new SIM).

Can smartphones overseas be used?

The app can also be used with smartphones made overseas. However, the app must be downloaded from Japanese app store, and SIM card from Japanese telecommunications carriers must be used for the sign up.

Security and unauthorized usage

Are there any security measures be taken?

The following actions are introduced as per security reasons.

・2-step authentication with email address/password and SMS verification (phone number) is used when you log in.

・2-step authentication is used when changing member information (1. Verification by email address/ password when changing PIN code, 2. Verification by PIN code when changing phone number).

・Points can only be used after PIN code verification.

Can I stop MYAKU-PO! being used if unauthorized access to the app is found?

The use of account will be suspended once unauthorized use is confirmed. Please click on the (三) at the upper left corner of the top page of the app, and go to “History” from the menu bar to check the unauthorized transaction, and inform us of the transaction details and date.

Please click on the (三) at the upper left corner of the of the app, and go to “History” from the menu bar to check the transaction you cannot remember having, and inform us of the transaction details and date.

What should I do if PIN code is locked?

Please try again later. As per security reasons, PIN code will be locked for 10 minutes upon 5 wrong password entries while entering PIN code. If you experience any PIN code lock that you do not remember, please kindly contact us with your membership number and nickname.

Can I restrict the type of information being pushed to notification?

We are sorry, but the type of notification cannot be restricted.

Can the push notification be stopped?

It is possible to stop push notification through the setting on your own device. However, even after you have deactivated push notifications, you will still receive notifications regarding MYAKU-PO! through in-app notification (The bell icon at the top-right corner). Please kindly check the notification on a regular basis.

Where can I make inquiries regarding the points?

Please kindly refer to the “FAQ” section for frequently asked questions regarding to contents like points.

Can I use the MYAKU-PO! app right after signing up?

Yes, you may use the app right after signing up as a member.

Can I use the app MYAKU-PO! without connecting to digital wallet?

You cannot use the MYAKU-PO! app alone. Please download the digital wallet app and sign up for membership together.

Can I sign up also for other person (my child, family etc.)?

Each person is limited to one MYAKU-PO! account, so even within families or relatives, individuals cannot create multiple accounts.

Can I have multiple MYAKU-PO! accounts?

Each person is limited to one MYAKU-PO! account, you are not able to create multiple accounts.

Are documents for identity verification needed for sign up the MYAKU-PO! App?

Submitting identification documents is not necessary, but as part of identity verification, we conduct SMS verification (phone number verification).

Can the services by MYAKU-PO! be used in addition to the account holder himself/ herself?

Please refrain from using the account by anyone other than the account holder.

How should I check if I forget whether I registered the account for MYAKU-PO!?

Kindly refer to the steps below.

1. From the login screen of MYAKU-PO!, choose the “Login” button under “I already have a MYAKU-PO! account”.

2. Enter your email address and password for EXPO2025 Digital Wallet.

3. Move to the page to confirm your phone number.

■In case of your phone number has been displayed You have your account registered already.

■In case of your phone number has not been displayed As your account has not been registered, please move to the login page, and choose “Sign up” button from “I already have an EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet account.” to complete the sign-up process.

How should I check if I forget whether I signed up the account for digital wallet?

How will the information registered be used?

Please refer to the ‘Terms of Use’ and ‘Privacy Policy’ in the MYAKU-PO! app. You can access these documents by selecting the (三) icon on the top left corner of the app’s home screen, and then click ‘Terms of Use’ or ‘Privacy Policy’ from the menu bar.

What should I do if I do not have an email address?

A valid email address is required for registration in the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app. Please create an email address before use.

Can I register with a landline phone number?

You cannot sign up a landline phone number. Only mobile phone numbers capable of receiving SMS can be used.

I cannot receive SMS verification code.

The reason why you may not be receiving the SMS verification code could be due to the following:

■ Restricted SMS inbox due to spam mail settings: – Your device’s spam mail settings or initial settings for spam mail prevention may block SMS sent from unknown users or those who are not in your contacts. Please temporarily disable the restriction and try again. SMS will be sent from a number starting with 0032, so ensure your device is set to receive SMS.

■ Unable to receive SMS after MNP: – When using Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to switch your service to another mobile carrier, you may not be able to receive SMS. Please check your settings.

■ Your SMS inbox is full: – Delete unnecessary data and try to request the verification code again.

■ Incompatibility with your mobile carrier service or device: – Depending on your mobile phone carrier service (especially if you have a data-only SIM without SMS functionality) or device, you may not be able to use SMS.

■ Mobile communication disabled: – If you’re only connected to Wi-Fi or if your device is in airplane mode, you won’t be able to receive SMS.

※If the issue persists after trying the above steps, restarting your device or retrying from the beginning may resolve it. If the problem persists, please contact us with your mobile service carrier included in the message.

What should I do if I entered the PIN code wrongly?

Please reset your PIN code by clicking on ‘Forgot PIN code?’ at the bottom of the PIN code entry screen.

What should I do if I registered the nickname wrongly?

We apologize for any inconvenience caused but you are not able to change your registered nickname.

Login

How should I log in?

You can log in by following these steps:

1. Open the MYAKU-PO! app and select the ‘Login’ button under ‘I already have a MYAKU-PO! account.’

2. Enter the email address and password for the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet. 3. Complete SMS verification within the MYAKU-PO! app.

I cannot login.

Please confirm whether the email address and password for the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app , and the phone number in the MYAKU-PO! app are correct. If the phone number is different, you won’t be able to modify your registration information before logging in. Please contact us with the right phone number.

It is troublesome to login every single time, is it possible to stay logged in?

Your login status will remain for 30 days from your last activity. Please keep in mind that after 30 days, you need to log in again.

Can I login directly from digital wallet?

You can log in to “MYAKU-PO!” from the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app. When using the wallet app, please select MYAKU-PO! from the top page and launch the MYAKU-PO! app to log in. Alternatively, you can also directly launch the MYAKU-PO! app to login.

※ Logging in requires entering the email address and password used for logging into the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app.

I am redirected to app store whenever I choose MYAKU-PO! from digital wallet.

By updating both the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app and the MYAKU-PO! app, you will be able to transition directly from the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app to the MYAKU-PO! app without going through the app store.

I forgot the email address and password for logging in to the app MYAKU-PO!. What should I do?

To login to the MYAKU-PO! app, you need to enter the email address and password from the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app. The MYAKU-PO! app itself does not require an email address or password to login.

I cannot receive SMS verification code when I sign in.

The reason why you may not be receiving the SMS verification code could be due to the following:

■ Restricted SMS inbox due to spam mail settings:

– Your device’s spam mail settings or initial settings for spam mail prevention may block SMS sent from unknown users or those who are not in your contacts. Can I skip the SMS verification when I sign in?

We apologize for the inconvenience but SMS verification cannot be skipped.

My account has been locked.

Please wait and try again later. While there is no account lock feature in the MYAKU-PO! app, if you enter the PIN code incorrectly five times, the PIN code will be locked for 10 minutes for security purposes. If you experience a PIN code lock that you did not trigger, please contact us.

Can I log out from MYAKU-PO!?

You can log out from MYAKU-PO!. Click on the (三) button on the top left corner of the app’s top page, press ‘Log out’ on the menu bar to bring up the log out confirmation screen. Please note that logging out from MYAKU-PO! does not log you out from the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet. Besides, if you have not been using MYAKU-PO! app for more than 30 days, you will be automatically logged out.

Modifying information

What should I do if I want to change the information registered (Phone number, PIN code etc.)?

Click on the (三) button on the top left corner of the app’s top page, you can change your phone number and PIN code from ‘Change Member Information’ below the membership number.

I would like to change my PIN code, but I forgot the login ID (Email address registered) and/or password for the wallet app.

How can I change my password?

Account withdrawal

Please tell me the procedures to delete my account from the app MYAKU-PO!.

Click the (三) button on the top left corner of the app’s top page, proceed to ‘Delete my account’ from ‘Change Member Information’ under the membership number.

[Note]

– Once you delete your account from MYAKU-PO!, you cannot sign up again with the same phone number.

– You cannot link it to the email address already signed up with EXPO2025 Digital Wallet.

Where will the point balance go if I delete my account from the app MYAKU-PO!?

All the point balance will be lost once you delete your account from the service.

What happens to the experience points and status of Myaku-Myaku Reward Program if I unsubscribe from the MYAKU-PO! app?

Even if you unsubscribe from the MYAKU-PO! app, there will be no impact on your experience points or status in Myaku-Myaku Reward Program.

 

[Note]
Once you unsubscribe from MYAKU-PO!, you will no longer be able to use the services provided by MYAKU-PO! with the same account. Therefore, you will also be unable to earn any new experience points related to MYAKU-PO!.

Can I have my account and point balance recovered after I delete my account from the app MYAKU-PO!?

We are unable to recover accounts nor refund point balances. Additionally, please note that once you delete the account from the service, you cannot sign up again with the same phone number, and you cannot link it to the email address signed up with the same EXPO2025 Digital Wallet.

Can I re-register for "MYAKU-PO!" and "EXPO2025 Digital Wallet" if I mistakenly delete my account from it?

Please create a new account for the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet and re-register for the MYAKU-PO!. You could not sign up again for MYAKU-PO! with the same phone number as before. If you wish to re-register with the same phone number, please contact us.
Additionally, we cannot restore any information such as point balances from before you unsubscribed.

Even if you only unsubscribe and re-register for the MYAKU-PO!, you will need to obtain a new account for the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet, as it cannot be linked with the email address and password used before unsubscribing.

Would other services be withdrawn if I delete my account from the app MYAKU-PO!?

Deleting the account from the ‘MYAKU-PO!’ app does not result in deleting your account from other services.

Would my account be deleted from MYAKU-PO! if I delete my account from the digital wallet app?

If you delete your account from the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet app, your account on the MYAKU-PO! app will also be deleted.

On collecting MYAKU-PO!

General

How can I get the points for MYAKU-PO!?

There are two ways to earn points:

■ Taking actions related to SDGs or the EXPO

Use the ‘Earn’ feature in the app to earn points by fulfiling conditions at participating stores or events, etc.

1. Visit the specific stores listed in the app and inform the store cashier that you want to earn points.

2. Launch the app and select ‘Earn’.

3. Scan the QR code provided at the cashier.

■ Exchange from existing points services You can earn points by selecting MYAKU-PO! as the exchange destination from the existing points service. Please check the website of each points service for the details.

When is the period for earning MYAKU-PO! points?

The period for earning points is from 1st of July 2024 to October 13, 2025. However, please note that you cannot earn points during this period in the case of:

– The total points allocated to all MYAKU-PO! users reach the target amount.

Are there any expiration date for MYAKU-PO! collected?

The expiration date for MYAKU-PO! is scheduled to be December 31, 2025, at the latest.We will inform you about the points’ expiration date again on our website and within the app.

What is the rebate rate for the points?

There is no rebate rate for the points.

Are there any places that I can earn and use MYAKU-PO! other than the venue of EXPO?

MYAKU-PO! can be used both inside and outside the Expo venue. For more information, please check:

Can I check the history regarding the points earned?

You can check the history of ‘Earned’ points and ‘Used’ points from the menu screen ‘History’ in the MYAKU-PO! app.

Collecting from stores and events

Are there any upper or lower limit for the points to be earned?

There are no upper or lower limits for the point system of MYAKU-PO!. However, the requirements for exchanging points to MYAKU-PO! vary depending on the provider.

I cannot scan the QR code for earning points.

Please check the following:

– Is your network connection working?

– Are you using the camera inside the MYAKU-PO! app?

– Are you scanning the QR code within 60 seconds of it being displayed?

– Scanning at the moment the QR code screen switches may result in an error. Please wait for the screen to refresh and then scan using the camera inside the MYAKU-PO! app.

– If the QR code screen has not been refreshed, please request the store staff to refresh it.

– Please be aware that points cannot be granted afterwards if QR code scanning fails.

The QR code scanner cannot be launched.

Please ensure that your device has granted access to the MYAKU-PO! app’s camera. If it still doesn’t work, please try restarting the app or your device.

What should I do if points are mistakenly charged to my account?

Points granted at stores or events cannot be cancelled. Please accept them as they are.

Collecting from existing point services

Are there any upper or lower limit to redeem points?

Point exchanges from existing points services to MYAKU-PO! can be made starting from 100 points. Please note that the exchange limit may vary depending on the service, so please check the website of each points service provider.

I exchanged points from third-party point service provider to MYAKU-PO!, but it has not been reflected on the MYAKU-PO! app.

Please check the status of your exchange request from the app where the exchange was initiated. Additionally, please note that there may be a delay in reflecting the points exchange. I entered the wrong amount of points to be redeemed and it has been processed. What should I do?

If you have mistakenly exchanged the wrong number of points from an existing points service to MYAKU-PO!, MYAKU-PO! cannot provide support for this matter. Please contact the original points service provider directly for assistance.

I would like to cancel the point exchange from third-party point service provider.

From the app you initiated point exchange, you may check the status of your exchange request. Please note that there may be a delay in reflecting the points exchange. To redeem EXPO-exclusive merchandise, please click ‘Use’ in the app.

1. Visit the specified store listed in the app and inform the store staff that you would like to exchange for ‘EXPO exclusive goods’.

2. Launch the app and click ‘Use’.

3. Enter the PIN code you set during account registration.

4. Scan the QR code provided at the cashier using the camera.

5. Enter the required points and press the confirmation button.

6.Present the payment screen to the store staff, slide the ‘Slide to Pay’ arrow [→].

Can I purchase the points?

You cannot purchase points with cash or credit card.

The expiration date for Myakupo! is scheduled to be December 31, 2025, at the latest. Points that reach their expiration date are planned to be donated to designated recipients.We will inform you about the points’ expiration date again on our website and within the app.
